On Friday Jake had his six month check-up. He weighed in a little over 18 pounds and 28 very long inches long! He's in the 90th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight. Right on track to be a tall healthy boy! The pediatrician gave us the go-ahead to start Jake on solid foods so today was his first real meal. Grandma Dottie was on-hand to help with the big event. Jake's been ready for a couple weeks for "real" food but we held off until we were done traveling and could focus on doing this right. I swear he knew the big day had finally arrived!
